Important Message: Status of Tonight's Game Due to Weather

Dear Team:

Early this morning I received the email copied below indicating that the umpire for this evening's game versus Katonah has contacted the coach of the home team to say that due to the potential for the extreme heat index this evening, there is a possibility that the umpire will call off the game tonight due to weather conditions.  The coach for the other team has told the umpire that due to Pelham's travel distance, that determination must be made by 4:00 this afternoon.

Please keep a close eye on your email and on the team Web site for further updates in this regard.  As of now, the game is on as scheduled with no changes.  The game will be played at the Bedford Village Town Pool Field where the team already has played earlier this season.  Directions to the field from the Katonah coach appear at the end of this message.

Best regards,

Blake

Blake just a heads up- the Umpire called me yesterday to tell me she might cancel the game due to the weather conditions.  I told her if she was going to cancel she needs to let me know prior to 4:00 so I am not dragging you guys up here.  I will let you know as soon as I hear from her.

Thanks,
Marc
